Ingredients

6Fresh Tomatoes
2Green Chillies
2Red Chillies, dried
1 tspMustard Seeds
1 tspUral Dal
1 tspMethi Seeds
2 tspHing
1 tspBrown Sugar
1 tspCoriander Seeds
Salt, to taste
1 tbspVegetable Oil

Method

  • In a non-stick frypan heat the oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, methi, coriander seeds, hing, and the chillies. Fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes, brown sugar and salt. Fry till all the ingredients are mixed together and the tomatoes are well cooked.
  • Let mixture cool completely and then grind to a fine paste.
