Iced Mint Tea

Ingredients

6Orange Pekoe tea bags
1/2 cupFresh Mint Leaves
3 tbspFresh Lime/Lemon Juice
2lWater, boiling
1 cupSugar (or to taste)
Ice Cubes

Method

  • Put tea bags, mint leaves, lemon/lime juice and boiling water into a large container - allow to steep for about 20 minutes.
  • Place the sugar into a large glass jug. Remove the tea bags and mint. Pour the brewed tea into the jug and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Cool and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes.
